These are heavy-duty slip hooks that have an eye so that a line can be spliced or tied directly to it, also excellent for wire applications. The jaw design allows lines and chains to "slip" until the balance point is found. Also excellent as a mooring hook. Has a safety latch to keep it from slipping off that mooring eye or having the line accidentally jump out. To keep chain from slipping use one of our grab hooks. 316 stainless steel.
