The Quick Pin, or “detent design”, allows for one-hand release or installation – just a quick pull or push. This type is used for applications requiring quick assembly and disassembly. Spring-loaded balls are staked in, exerting sufficient pressure to eliminate accidental release. All pins are non-corrosive, aircraft quality stainless steel (300 series stainless steel). “Grip Length” is the length listed in the description as it is the more important measurement than overall length and grip length is defined as the distance from the shoulder (the ring on Quick Pin” style) to the locking ball bearings.
