Here's the very latest generation in patented mechanical fittings for all types of wire rope and rod. Specially developed for marine, industrial and Navy/Coast Guard use, they can be assembled in less than a minute. One model per size will fit all wire construction: 7x19, 7x7, 1x19 and Dynaform® wire ropes, as well as rods of a given diameter.  Special attention has been placed on the strength of the terminals, which guarantees that the wire will always break before the fitting even gets distorted! Patented wedges firmly grip the wire rope or rod. Fittings and wedges are fully reusable. 

"Quick Attach®" fittings are precision machined from 316 stainless steel and are LLOYDS OF LONDON APPROVED under #88/0279 for holding power of at least 90% of the maximum breakload of the wire rope used. Many tests achieved as much as 98% of the theoretical wire rope strength.  Working loads of these fittings will always exceed working loads of the stainless cable. 

Quick Attach®" fittings, available in all sizes, are also recommended for installations where the final length of the wire cannot be determined in advance, since they allow adjustment to correct length during assembly. 

1.  First, slide the jaw housing into place on the cable.
2. Next, slide the jaws onto the cable.
3. Place the pressure ring on the cable.  The distance from the pressure ring to the cable end must be 3/16”.
4. Slide the jaw housing in place so that it covers the jaws.
5. Assemble the terminal: Screw the head firmly in place on the housing with a wrench.  Then tighten the lock nut firmly in place.
